Gratitude May Very Well Be What You Are Missing In Your Life.

Sometimes we have the impression that nothing is going our way, as if the universe was against us. We start to see the negative and we forget little by little all the good things we have.

This is exactly where the gratitude exercise can help us get out of that darkness. It allows us to take a moment to appreciate the good in our lives and can help put the negative in perspective and live happier.

The thing you need to know is that we often tend to take what we have for granted, so over time we forget what we have and the negative jumps out at us.

Dissatisfaction then follows and we put pressure on ourselves to improve our condition, for example by spending a lot of money, by changing jobs or even by violating our relationships.

Of course, it is important to put effort into our pursuit of happiness, but it is important to identify whether we are really missing something or whether we have just forgotten.

That’s why gratitude is so powerful because it allows us to remember all the good in our lives, and we sometimes realize that we have so much more than we thought.

It’s also important to recognize that you can’t have everything in life. There will always be those more fortunate than us, but that’s okay. We can feel good without having everything, and we have to work on ourselves to be comfortable with what we have.

Gratitude then allows us to admit that we have less than others in some areas of our lives, but it also allows us to realize that we have more elsewhere.

Although we always have this instinct to compare ourselves to others, it is possible to refocus on our subjective experience and analyze it internally.

Only by analyzing our inner self can we know what we really want, and get it.

So let’s exercise gratitude wisely for our happiness.

Thank you 🙂
